Upcoming Conferences: SVN, Investors’ Circle, Sustainable Industries Economic Forum

The upcoming SVN conference takes place this Thursday, October 23 through Sunday, October 26 in La Jolla, CA. For those of you who will be joining us, don’t miss the panel Don Shaffer is moderating on Saturday, October 25, at 10:45am: “Creative Ways to Attract Capital.”

At the Investors’ Circle Fall Conference (November 10 – 12 in Boston, MA), Don will be moderating the “Investing Strategy: Portfolio Alignment” panel on the afternoon of Wednesday, November 12. He will lead the panel through inquiries such as how one can create a portfolio that satisfies both investment return and philanthropic objectives. Panelists, including Willy Foote, President & Founder of RSF borrower Root Capital, will  offer insights in how to awaken your “entire investor self” through the use of previously segregated philanthropic capital.
