RSF President & CEO Don Shaffer Spoke to Sold-Out Crowd at the Commonwealth Club

On August 14th, 2008, RSF Social Finance President & CEO Don Shaffer spoke to a sold-out crowd at the Commonwealth Club in San Francisco. The purpose of the event was to highlight trends toward more local and sustainable food systems, and challenge investors to look for ways to support the trends.

The panel, entitled, β€œThe Centralization of Our Food System,” was part of a series organized in association with the Slow Food Nation event. Also featured were Michael Dimock, President of Roots of Change, and Paul Frankel of Ecosa Capital. Public radio station KQED broadcast the recording several times in August.
