At the end of 2007, there were 864 investor accounts and 98 borrower accounts at RSF. We made a total of $28 million in new loans compared to $18.5 million in 2006, a 66% increase. Aldeia Development LLC. Developer of Independence Station in Independence, Oregon, a 57,000 square-foot mixed-use high performance building. RSF’s loan is for the construction of what is slated to be the single highest scoring LEED rated building in the world in 2008.
David Brower Center. A LEED Platinum-rated building and multi-tenant non-profit center for the environmental and progressive communities in Berkeley, California.
Renewable Energy
Better Energy Systems. Better Energy Systems designs and manufactures the award-winning Solio, the first solar hybrid charger on the market for mobile devices such as cell phones, PDA’s, MP3 players, and GPS navigation systems.
Borrego Solar Systems, Inc. Specializes in the design and installation of turnkey, grid-connected commercial, residential and public sector solar electric systems. Borrego is currently the third largest independent installer of residential solar systems in California with plans to expand.
Sustainable Materials
EcoTimber. Specializes in offering sustainably harvested and reclaimed wood products from forests that are certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC-certified).
Entac Emulsions Solutions. Manufactures and distributes environmentally friendly, 100% liquid organic binders and sealants produced from naturally occurring resins. One of its products is used to reduce dust emissions from construction sites.
New Leaf Paper. A company that is changing the paper industry by producing and distributing innovative environmentally friendly paper.

Central de Cooperativas Agrarias de Cafetaleras (COCLA). A Fair Trade organization serving 8,500 small-scale, family farmers organized into twenty-three coffee cooperatives spanning the Cuzco region of southern Peru.
Numi Organic Tea. A Fair Trade certified specialty tea company providing organic full-leaf quality teas while committing itself to social and environmental sustainability.
Pachamama Coffee Cooperative. A Fair Trade and organic certified California based company owned by more than 13,000 family farmers under four producer cooperatives in Latin America.
Odegard, Inc. An international leader in contemporary carpet design and social responsibility. All Odegard® carpets bear the RugMark® label. This label is the only recognized certification program to make sure carpets are made without child labor.

Affordable Housing
Little Tokyo Service Center (LTSC). Affordable housing developer of over 600 units since 1979. RSF participated in this loan with Low Income Investment Fund, Local Initiatives Support Corporation, and Century Housing for the pre-development of five scattered affordable sites. LTSC also provides on-site social services to its residents such as youth mentoring, after-school programs, small business assistance, and community organizing.

Network for Good. Network for Good is one of the Internet’s leading charitable resources making it simple and affordable for all non-profits, of any size, to recruit donors and volunteers on-line.
Public Outreach. A Canadian professional fundraising consultancy that works primarily with select nonprofit organizations to engage donors in face-to face and telephone conversations.
