Social Innovation Fund (formerly New Initiatives Fund)

2007-2008 Grant Cycle

Proposals will be considered in light of the following:

• consistency with RSF’s mission
• credibility, feasibility, and sustainability
• fostering collaborative work
• other financial or volunteer support
• intended result or outcome
• beneficial economic, environmental, and social impact

Grant applications must include the following, and should not exceed four pages at 12-point type:

• indicate your application is for the Social Innovation Fund on the front page
• contact information (name, address, phone number, fax number, and e-mail address)
• amount you are requesting
• description of your project or initiative
• short summary of how you will use the grant
• your project plan or how you expect to accomplish your work
• brief explanation of how your project or initiative furthers the mission of RSF
• a copy of your 501(c)(3) letter of determination or that of your fiscal sponsor

Note: Unless specifically requested, any additional or supplemental information may not be taken into consideration by the advisory committee.

Proposals must be postmarked by March 15 to be considered.
