Our Approach

Traditionally, organizations with the most hope for our future have had the least access to funding. Alternative energy initiatives, for example, have had difficulty in securing debt financing in our fossil-fuel-based society. At RSF, we intend to change that by providing philanthropic, investment, and lending vehicles to individuals and organizations so money can move for social benefit.

We accomplish our goals by:

• Working with Philanthropists and Investors. We work with investors and philanthropists in carrying forward their best intentions by providing access to capital, with the funds they have entrusted to us, to organizations that foster economic, environmental, and social sustainability.
• Developing Innovative Financial Vehicles. We continually research and develop ways to ensure that we meet the needs of our clients.
• Building A Community Dedicated to Sustainability. We create a space where ideas are shared and collaborations form to strengthen social finance.
• Researching the Role of Money in Society. We engage in research on the role of money in society to develop the capacity of individuals and organizations to explore the social implications of financial practices.
